Reeless Systems – Take-apart reels
Mecnov designs and fabricates a complete range of demountable reels for stranding.
Our DRS take-apart reels are either built with a fixed drum to be used with cardboard core or with a collapsible drum for operation with or without cardboard core.
These take-apart reels are offered in two basic designs: with removable flange or with removable flange and drum.
The following options are available on demountable reels:
- thrust bearing-mounted under the nut to facilitate torque application;
- high strength flange;
- balanced reel;
- hexagon steel nut;
- 3, 4, or 6 slots configuration available.
