Lifting and Tilting Clamps – SLC

The Mecnov Smart Lifting Clamp (SLC) is versatile and perfectly suited for loading plastic or wooden spools in stranding machines.   Its protective padded shoes grab the spool by the center material.

Mecnov SLC clamps have the following features:

• steel construction;
• clamp pads covered with high strength foam rubber to ensure minimum  pressure on the product;
• small volume SLC clamp to make spool handling easier in low-clearance situation, i.e. in a stranger cage; 
• locking mechanism to keep the clamp in the open position to facilitate removal of the clamp or pickup of the spool;
• as an option, the SLC can tilt the spool a full 90⁰.

Technical specifications:

• handling capacity: to 150 lbs;
• spool flange diameter: to 18 in.;
• spool traverse length: to 17 in.
