Custom Systems – Bread Cooler Exit Systems

Mecnov designs and fabricates custom conveying systems for the bakery industry.

For this particular project, Mecnov designed a high-end conveyor and indexing system for a bread slicing and bagging line.

Breads exit the cooler line in rows of four in a random way.  Breads are accelerated to create a gap between rows before being aligned by a servo-controlled gate. Once aligned, breads are indexed by a servo-controlled hard-way indexing system  toward the different slicing machines according to an operator’s set plan.
